One of the newest expansions to Universal is Universal’s Volcano Bay, which is a water theme park located in Orlando, FL. This 27 acre water park opened to the public in 2017 and is home to more than fifteen rides and attractions, themed around a 200 foot volcano named Krakatau.

Rides and Attractions
In all there are nineteen rides and attractions at Universal’s Volcano Bay. There are four themed areas inside Universal’s Volcano Bay; River Village, Krakatau, Rainforest Village, and Wave Village, and all these areas are surrounding the volcano. River Village contains attractions and rides meant for younger visitors and families too. Krakatau area features the parks 200 foot volcano and contains the tallest drop capsule body slide in the world. Rainforest Village has a large number of thrill rides, including raft and body slides. Wave Village is for relaxing and tanning, contains two wave pools, one main, and one with calmer waves.
